The Weekend Report - From CT to NV, there is just so much to see! July 11–13 Edition

I'm searching hundreds of estate sale and auction listings from coast to coast to find the sales we'd actually get in the car for. We pull from national listing sites, boutique estate sale companies, and online auction platforms so you're not just seeing what's on one site — you're seeing the best of everything happening this weekend across America.

This week is the Summer Collectors Edition. Five of the most interesting sales happening anywhere in the country right now, with something for every kind of collector — mid-century design, luxury estates, Victorian antiques, fine jewelry, Civil War history, and 600 lots of professional tools starting at a dollar.

Oh, and did I mention an official Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi mug? Because guess what, that is real!

  1. Blue Moon Estate Sales: Mid-Century, Vintage Star Wars, Rare Asian Art & Fine Furnishings — Roswell, Georgia

    July 10–12 | Friday–Sunday, 10am–4pm | Blue Moon Estate Sales North Fulton

    https://www.estatesales.net/GA/Roswell/30075/4990359

This is the road trip pick of the week. Blue Moon Estate Sales is running a three-day sale at a Roswell home and the item list reads like a collector's sweep. Mid-century furniture throughout, vintage Star Wars, and rare Asian art including Chinese Qing Dynasty ancestor portraits and a pair of Chinese emperor and empress portraits.

There's also a John Wisner for Ficks Reed Hollywood Regency bamboo rattan lounge chair — a serious and highly sought mid-century design piece — alongside a Ming-style lacquer side table, original oil paintings, signed watercolors, etchings, brass planters, silver-plated decorative bowls, and fine porcelain throughout.

Blue Moon is one of the most professionally run estate sale companies in the country and their Roswell sales consistently pull from beautifully furnished homes. Three full days, Friday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm each day.

Atlanta area collectors — this is your pick of the weekend. Don't sleep on it.

  1. Fred F. Nassiri Estate Online Public Auction — Henderson, Nevada

Saturday July 11 & Sunday July 12, 10am–5pm both days | Clark County Public Auction via HiBid

    https://estatesales.org/estate-sales/nv/henderson/89052/saturday-sunday-1000am-anthem-fred-2450641

This is the luxury estate pick of the week and it is not close.

Clark County Public Auction is running a two-day live online auction at the Fred F. Nassiri estate in Henderson's Anthem community — 1,200 lots sold over Saturday and Sunday. The vehicle lineup alone would stop most people: a mint condition 2022 BMW 7 Series with only 7,900 miles, a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL with 36,000 miles, and a 1991 Rolls-Royce limousine with 68,000 miles.

Beyond the cars: framed Salvador Dalí artwork, an extensive bronze sculpture collection, marble busts and pedestals, a Brunswick pool table, Rosenthal crystal, Murano glass, Waterford crystal, Victorian and French antique furniture, mahogany carved pieces, antique slot machines, designer clothing and jewelry, Capo di Monte, chandeliers, tapestries, and what the catalog describes as "usual unusual items" — which on a list this long could mean almost anything.

Live preview was Friday. Online bidding is open right now at LasVegasAuction.com. Bidding runs Saturday and Sunday starting at 10am Pacific.

If you're in the Las Vegas area, this one is worth showing up for in person. And if you're not, the online bidding is open to everyone.

  1. Murrysville Estate Sale — Murrysville, Pennsylvania

One day, one shot. Turn Key Clean Outs and Estate Sales is running a Saturday-only sale in Murrysville and the item list is the kind that makes serious collectors set their alarm the night before.

Gold and silver estate jewelry. Victorian Eastlake carved furniture — the highly ornate, incised American Victorian style from the 1870s and 80s that is having a genuine collector moment right now. Primitive farmhouse antiques. Vintage clothing. Comic books. Cutco. Antique rugs and quilts.

Saturday July 11th only. Get there early — these one-day sales move fast.

Clearing House Estate Sales has assembled 142 lots from private collections and estate buyouts across New England, and the catalog is genuinely exceptional.

A few highlights that stopped us cold:

Original Civil War battlefield-dug Minié balls in a framed presentation case — currently at $9. These were fired in actual Civil War battles, recovered from actual battlefields, and framed for display. A documented piece of American military history currently going for less than a cup of coffee.

A vintage Christian Dior Gripoix emerald bracelet and matching earrings — currently at $82. Gripoix is the legendary Parisian jewelry atelier that created pieces for Chanel and Dior for decades. Vintage Dior Gripoix routinely sells for hundreds at auction. Currently at eighty-two dollars with the auction closing Sunday night.

A Tiffany and Company sterling silver Heads or Tails coin with the original pouch. A WWII era Phoenix Spiedel Sweetheart bracelet. A Henry C. Porter Black Americana serigraph. A Movado La Nouvelle tank watch. A Razor RipRider caster trike new in box. Early sports cards. Vintage toys. Original 1930s watercolors.

And — we would be doing you a disservice if we didn't mention it — a 1987 Soundesign boombox with a built-in television. It is a boombox. It also has a television in it. From 1987. Currently at $53 and one of the greatest objects we have ever featured on this show.

Closes Sunday July 12th at 7pm ET. Pickup is in North Haven, Connecticut on July 18th. Shipping is available through The Postal Annex in Wallingford, CT — contact Marco at 475-319-1085.
